All concepts of autonomy call for a subject that determines autonomy in relation to it. The subject, the self thus appears as primary condition and starting point of an autonomous system or an autonomus relation. We have been asking ourselves: what and where is the self autonomous, and how can we describe or approach it with creative means? Is the self inside us, or how can we trace it from the outside by looking / listening / thinking into something? Each contribution, each fragment is just another snippet of a self, looking at a self, maybe present or absent.
